Friends of Downs Infant School (FODIS) is a committee of parents and carers that organises many events and clubs at school in order to raise funds to buy equipment and playground resources.

Over the past few years FODIS has raised a considerable amount of money. Over the past 4 years £10-15,000 has, on average, been raised every year. This money enables us to spend money on equipment and extras for the school and the children, from plants for the garden to shade sails in the playground.

We wouldn’t be able to do this without enormous help from you. We always need help throughout the year, but especially for events. If you can spare an hour or two at an event or maybe on a more long-term basis e.g. gardening, then please get in touch with one of the committee or speak to your class rep.
