Many thanks to everyone who attended the AGM on Thursday, we had a really good turnout and have duly elected the following committee:
Chair Caroline Childerley (Joseph, Owls)
Vice Chair Alison Laing (Elodie, Owls)
Secretary Richard de Visser (Thom, Squirrels)
Treasurer Jo Rees (Lona, Otters)
Environmental Lead
Caroline Booker (Mia, Seahorse)
Abi Fry (Zia, Coral)
Project Officers

Jo Darlison (George, Hedgehogs)
Simon Faulkner (Marcus, Dolphin/Maia, Seahorse)

Staff Rep Liz Ferber (Seahorse Class)
In addition the committee it was suggested that we have class reps (ideally two for each class) who will assist the committee in organising volunteers and raising awareness of FODIS. Four class reps were recruited on Thursday:
Dolphin Class (RJD) Kate Lacey
Hedgehog Class (IGW) Amanda Walton
Swallow Class (2EC) Tanya Moravec
Owl Class (2CT) Ginny Sporn
However we still need reps from the following classes: Coral, Seahorse, Starfish, Squirrels, Badgers, Otters, Doves and Skylarks. If you feel that you would like to be a rep please fill out the slip overleaf and put in the FODIS box outside the school office. If you have any questions about what the role involves please call Caroline on 07976303096.

One of the tasks at the AGM is to set the spending plan for 2007/2008. This is done in consultation with Ms Kruger and the school staff, but your input is welcome. The suggestions for the next year are as follows:
Digital Cameras
Mini-DVD/video cams (suitable for use by the children)
News sheds for Yr1/Yr2 playground equipment
Additional Theatre/Music groups visits (e.g. Rainbow Theatre)
Incubator & heatlamp for Reception (chicken eggs)
If you have any feedback or alternative suggestions please fill out the slip below and return at the latest by Friday 12th October to the FODIS box outside the school office.
We shall be sending information out for the Halloween Discos shortly so keep an eye out for letters in Book Bags!
